Reduce, Refill, Recycle
Everyone is becoming more and more aware of the
impact they we have on the environment. Blue boxes are seen on curbs in
Kamloops and the TNRD has introduced a new recycling garbage program in
January 2009 called "Recycle Now and Save" both are aimed at saving
precious space in our landfills and conserving natural resources.
Recycling is great, but Reusing is better.
At INKY's, we believe in refilling and reusing
cartridges whenever possible. Reusing an inkjet cartridge can save the
energy and materials used in recycling it, decreasing the overall
environmental impact of printing. We estimate that, along with our
customers, we have kept over 100,00 cartridges from entering our local
landfills in the interior of British Columbia. A fact that we are very
proud to have been a part.
